Hawai'i Weather

The number one question and one that can make us local residents smile is "What's the weather there?"  The very simple answer (and usually all that is needed) is quite often the same:  Mostly sunny, high temperatures in the mid-80s, light to moderate trade winds, with mountain showers in the afternoon.  It's pretty easy most days!

It's not always perfect, however. We can have very severe storms, occasionally hurricane force, and earthquakes in Japan or Alaska can generate tsunami. Since it's usually sunny for much of the day, we can get irritable when we have more than one or two days of rain in a row. Some say we are more sensitive to light depravation. Countering this of course, are the rainbows!
